Purpose of the Resource

This is a private reference site with no government authority. It does not store official jail, release, inmate, or court records. Site operators cannot confirm whether someone is held, arrange a release, change a record, submit a filing, or act for any public office.

Its pages direct visitors toward Maverick County agencies, Texas corrections resources, federal locators, and outside research tools. An originating agency remains responsible for its records and decisions.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use must remain lawful and must not interfere with the service or the safety and rights of other people. By continuing, you agree to all of the following limits:

• Do not use the site while violating any applicable law.
• Do not use information to stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass anyone.
• Do not rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions.
• Do not seek access to accounts, systems, code, or data without authorization.
• Do not operate bots, automated scrapers, or bulk collection tools against the site.
• Do not impair availability, security, performance, or another visitor's access.

FCRA Use Is Prohibited

Maverick County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its advertising partners do not supply screening services through this site. You agree not to use site or linked-tool information for any FCRA-covered decision, including:

• Decisions about hiring, continued employment, discipline, or termination.
• Tenant selection, leases, or any other housing screening.
• Creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance eligibility and pricing.
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit or program.
• Any other transaction or determination regulated by the FCRA.

External Services and Links

Links may lead to release-record channels, sheriff and corrections pages, court or government portals, legal-aid resources, and outside search services. Those destinations operate independently. Maverick County Released Inmates does not control their content, availability, security, pricing, or data practices and does not endorse them merely by providing a link. Review each destination's current terms and privacy policy before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site, its text, and its features are supplied "as is" and "as available." No express or implied warranty is made concerning:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current state of any information.
• Continuous or uninterrupted access to the site.
• Freedom from mistakes, software defects, or security weaknesses.
• The coverage or completeness of results returned by an outside partner.

Custody status, release records, contacts, and public portals can change without notice. Nothing published here is an official statement from the Maverick County Sheriff, a jail, TDCJ, a court, or another government agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Maverick County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, and partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from access to, reliance on, inability to use, or use of the site or an outside service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Maverick County Released Inmates, its owners, operators, and partners from claims, liabilities, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your site use, misuse, violation of law, infringement of another person's rights, or breach of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Site text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Maverick County Released Inmates or the partners that license them. Except where law permits otherwise, you may not reproduce, distribute, republish, modify, sell, or create derivative works from those materials without prior written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be changed at any time. A revised version takes effect when it is posted. Continued use after publication of a revision means that you accept the updated terms.

Suspension of Access

Access to some or all of the site may be restricted, suspended, or terminated at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice. This right does not limit any other remedy available under these terms or applicable law.

Texas Law Governs

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that must be filed in court shall be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Texas.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one provision invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. The affected provision shall be narrowed or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable while preserving its purpose where possible.
